Hey friends,
Its me after a little break. As i'm continuing my bedrest, me and my babies are doing ok till now but for all the minor discomforts like back pain, heaviness in the tummy etc. I cleared my GTT. Now that i'm in my 30th week and my babies are still breech, my doctor has adviced me to schedule for a C-section sometime in my 37th week. I'm yet to fix the date and also praying god to stay good till 37 weeks. Well, i guess, all my twin-mom friends as doing great with their babies. My mom will be here next week and it really gives me a big relief from every pain. I wish all of you good luck to have a smooth and painless delivery. Will keep in touch!!

Shreyu Deep replied. Hi Shreyu! I'm sure you can't wait to have the 2 lil' bundles of joy in your hands soon. Even better that you'll have your mom around to help you out. Mom's are such a blessing at this time. I'm at my mom's right now so I can tell you. I'm in my 33rd week and my baby is still in breech. I have read and been told that one can have normal vaginal delivery too with the baby in breech position but I gues it must be different as far as twins go. All the best. Take good care of urself till ur mom gets there. I'm sure she'll handle the rest once she gets there.

With your mum around, having a C-Section would not be so hard to recover from as you can share taking care of babies between the two of you! Don't get anxious, just relax and take one day at a time, I'm sure the breach position will change head down soon too.
And like Vidhya said, find out good mahurat for the babies to arrive and just sit back and let the countdown begin.

Its always good to hear from u. Congrats on clearing ur GTT, u must be relieved. Also good to know that ur mom will be there with u next week, its really good to have someone, especially mom, around.
As for the baby being in breech position, even i'm in the same boat and my doc also adv that if he/she doesn't turn by 32nd week (which is few days more to go) then I might have to go for a C-section by 38th week. Keeping my fingers crossed, for my baby to do a complete turn over.

Both types of deliveries have their pluses, so lets just take it as whatever will happen, will be for the best for baby and us.

Congrats on clearing your GTT. That's a major hurdle to overcome.

Good to hear that your mom would be coming next week, I am sure she will take care of you like a baby. Please continue to take lots of rest.

As for the breech positioning of the babies, I thought 32 weeks was the time they determine the baby would not move from breech. I guess, it's different in case of twins.

From what I hear from Bargavi's experience, C-Section doesn't seem that bad at all. Don't worry, you'll have a smooth one. You and your babies will be in my prayers and I hope that they miraculously move to the down position.

Do keep us updated. The good part of this is you'll have your bundle of joys much before you expected and also you would be knowing when they will arrive. Do check with your elders when a good day and a good time would be to welcome the little ones.

Since you have 7 more weeks to go before your 37th week, isn't it too early for doctors to want to schedule a C-section??? It might be becoz of of you having two little cuties in there.

Hope everything goes by smoothly for you and everything turns out the way you want it to.. Keep faith and you and your babies will be just fine..

Bargavi seems to be doing great and Sandhya had an uncomplicated C-section too, so just relax and get pampered by your mom from next week on..
