Hi!My son is 10 months old and he is healthy. But my problem is that he is a bit fussy about savouries and likes to eat only sweet things in his meals.e.g with mixed vegetables,I need to add mashed banana or some pudding to make him eat otherwise he spits it out.I keep trying giving him lentils, curries, omelette but he never likes it and I have to throw it all.I am quite disappointed in my attempts though his weight gain is satisfactory.I want to change his habit of taking in sweet stuff during meals.what should I do?Kindly advice.

hi,

You can add glucose in water, milk and juice instead of sugar. Kids will love the taste. Good for health too. You can also try some salted crackers. I think you can add little salad dressing in the mixed vegetables..may be he will like the taste. gradually u can reduce the quantity of sugar in his food. Anyway, as he grows up u can make him understand..and i don't think u need to worry since he is only 10 months.
