Dear all:
i had been to my doc last week and she said everything is ok but i could afford more growth.i have in all gained 10 kgs till now,is it normal? In the check ups she generally feels the tummy and listens to heartbeat. is that all u all also experience during checkups???
from now on i am to visit her every 2 weeks. is it the same for u all? when is the next U/S planned for u? My gynac didn't mention any date for U/S.

Also since i have to travel for my delivery to another city which is 3-4 hrs away pls let me know when at the most i should travel. as i am working and i would like to save on my leaves.

cheers, pooja

Hi Pooja,

I have similar kind of check ups as mentioned by you. The doc feels my stomach from outside and then does an internal. Internal because she found that my cervix was slightly open in the beginning of my pregnancy, thats why she tends to do it everytime. Otherwise I dont think an internal is also required. Then she feels the heartbeat of the baby, just like you said. Thats about it. Which month are you in now? That would explain the bi-weekly visits. Ultrasounds are usually done 3-4 times during the entire pregnancy duration.
I live in Bangalore but have to go to Bombay for my delivery, so I plan to leave almost 2 months in advance. Even the docs advised that for me.

Best,
Raji

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
