Eating Problems:Give me some advice

My son is 2&1/2 yrs old and he does not like to eat at all. He is used to sitting in his high chair and eating so I just tie him up there and feed him. He hates to chew just swallows everything. I have to squash everything well and feed him. What should i do he knows how to chew but he wont as he does not like to eat. He bites chips, chicken fried, and maggie some of his favorite foods. But he cannot only eat these stuff. Do give me some advice....

hi MAMA,
Give him crushed food so that he doesnt have to chew it. See the main thing is that he should have something...it is not imp that he chews it or swallows it. The main concern should be that his tummy is full. i have a 2 yr old son and i too give him crushed food.....they will start chewing when they r in play school & they start eating on their own. & as u have mentioned that he chews the food that he likes. So dont worry abt chewing right now he is still young.

Yes anu i give him all crushed food even his apple is grated but i was generally getting worried that he has all his teethes so why is he not chewing evrything. But you are right after going to pre-school he will learn to do all that himself I guess.
