2011-06-27
Name: Mohana

Hi, My kid is going one of the best school in chennai, but my husband job location is Bangalore. I am totally confuse, whether my husband need to switch his job or we need to look school in bangalore. If we want the school, I don' t have any other option then staying in chennai for my kid.if we change the school, then we all in one place. Does anyone face this kind of issue.. I need some feedback. Will it impact on child development, if we change the school ?

Hi there are a lot of schools in Bangalore. You can always shift to the place where your husband is getting posted which will allow your kid to stay close to its father as well. Think and decide

One of my friend' s did. It is important to have the presence of both the parents in a child' s life. You could shift base to Bangalore which might be a little hard for your kid initially. But, children make friends quickly and adapt well. If you plan on moving here, I would suggest Orchid' s International School. My kid is studying there and I am a happy parent. If your husband could relocate, well and good. If not, move to his place of work and help your child get accustomed the new city and school.

Hi Mohana,
I have recently shifted from Bangalore to chennai. First of all which standard is your kid is in. Actually as per me if the till primary school there should not be any issue for you from shifting from chennai to bangalore. Bangalore also has equally good schools. Kids will get adjusted faster than us and in fact we should allow them to face such situation so that they can handle different people and places.
Thanks
Swathi
