Hey archie and all,

I know I am being a bit annoying.. But expecting the labour any time and sitting at home the whole time with all the discomfort and pain is becoming difficult for me... Yesterday I had the white discharge with blood nearly 5 times, ofcourse just a tinge of blood.. and today I saw it once.. but today i have been having quite an amount of contractions though irregular in interval and a constant hip pain.. and these contractions are in my lower abdomen.. does this happen usually..

archie, as you had told me, i did talk to my doctor and she told me that there is nothing to worry as this discharge is quite normal and that unless i get pain/water breaking, i dont have to come to the hospital..

i am just hoping that i dont get very dehydrated.. btw, which happens first, water breaking or the contractions? and if it is real labour, does it pain in the abdomen or in the back?

KB.
water break or contractions don't have an oder. in most contractions starts and no water break while in some they don't experience contractions even after water break.

All the things u talked abt.. I guess its common for most of us here. When i checked with my doc abt this, even she told me not to worry at all..! :-)

I am in the 38th week and havent experienced any kinds contractions till now. All i keep complaining are back aches, lower abdominal pains , leg and pubic bone pains. Oh Yeah, BHC once in a while.

White discharge is normal and even i keep getting it more these days. I havent seen any kinda blood yet.

A few of my frenz from their experiences told me that contractions can come after the water breaks OR vice versa. I guess it varies from pregnancy to pregnacy.

Coming to the labor - Usually the contractions always start from back and end up cramping ur abdomen muscles in the front at some regular intervals. But , a freind of mine had 'back labor' .. meaning contractions n severe pain in the back. I dont have a lot of idea abt this so its better if u check with ur doc.

Be sure ur baby inside is active and also make note of the movements daily. If u are past 38th week .. just be prepared and have ur hospital bags ready.

Rem'ber we are all in the same boat :-)

Take care!!

I am on the same boat. Well atleast you are having some contractions, I dont have any signs. The baby is engaged, but thats about it. I am at 38 weeks now, and really really really uncomfortable. I feel like a balloon ready to pop. I've completely lost my patience now.

Have any of you pierced your baby´ s ears?
Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.

Ear piercing
My daughter was 5 months old when we decided to get her ear pierced. The non medical ear piercing options are painful and unsafe with possibilities of hepatitis, viruses and even HIV and I can never recommend it. My husband and I were looking for a safe, modern, gun shot piercing option which is completely safe, pain-free and with a traditional touch as well.
