Hi, I will be travelling with my 6month old baby next month. His 6 month check up is due with the doc next week. Apart from the milk powder n the packet cereals n the basic medicines is there anything else that i should carry for my baby. What all precautions shd i take during my stay in India. I have already asked my mom to keep the mosquito net n mosquito repellent ready b4 my visit.Also which water shd i use for the baby's milk when i am there.

Ask your mother to enquire about any good paediatrician nearby so that in case u need to consult, u dont hv to run around.

A friend of mine who visited india like u, needed to consult a doc some 3 hrs before her return flight. She had started calling up ppl looking for a good doc and at last consulted the one i go to.

Try n save baby from dust and pollution as far as possible. Clean/sterilize toys periodically. Use sterilised containers for baby. Change baby's and your clothes after any outing. Ensure your and baby's bed is clean as u wd meet relatives and visitors when u r here. I m sure u wd use mineral water here for urself and baby.
