Hi,

I was pregnant last year Apr03, but had some spotting on in my 7th week. So went to see the doctor. All my reports came normal. Even my hcg level was increasing as expected. But it was too early to get heart beats of the baby. Dr. asked me to come after 2 weeks & said we'll wait & see if the spotting subsides. I took bed rest for that duration. Still spotting persisted. But I had all signs of pregnancy like nautia, vomiting, craving for food etc.

Dr. suspected molar pregnancy & asked me go do D & C. After I underwent D & C pathology reports did not indicate any molar pregnancy. First time D& C was not done properly, so they had to repeat it after another week, because i was still having nautia, vomiting.

Later when I consulted other doctors, they said it might have been normal pregnancy. Me & my Hubby are very Upset because of this.

Dr. had asked us to wait for some time & then try again. My periods are also irregular. We are again trying since Feb 04, but still no Success. Can any one help? What might be the problem?

I'm also taking folic acid suppliment from may04.

My husband used devices for 1yr after marriage. we started trying for baby from jul02. U have all other details regarding my medical history.

I took my 3rd dosage of hepB on 16May03. By then I was pregnant I guess.

Here I'm giving U information regarding my periods right from the time I got married.

26Apr01, 25May01, 22Jun01, 22Jul01, 21Aug01, 02Oct01, 15Dec01(saw doctor & got periods after taking tablets), flew to US in jan, Got periods in 15feb02, 27Mar02, 18May02, 01Jul02, 23Sep02, (Saw doctor, she carried blood tests on me & asked me to take rubella & hepB dose & not to get pregnant for 3 months after taking rubella. Next I got my periods on 14Nov02(took rubella & 1st HepB dose on 15Nov02). took 2nd hepB dose on 15dec. Got my periods on 15Dec02, 15Jan03, 17Feb03. Started Trying again. Got my next periods on 25Apr03. Then I had some spotting 4th, 5th Jun03 so took pregnancy test at the hospital, which was +ve. But my spotting continued, so saw the Dr. she asked me to take some blood test & take rest. All my tests were normal. She did not give me any medication only asked me to rest & wait & watch. She performed sonography also on me, but could not see promising movement. But my Hcg level was rising quite well. Last Hcg count was about 1.43lakhs. I was having nautia, vomiting and all that.

Dr suggested me to perform D&C. We took second opinion from some other Dr. from the same hospital(in USA) & only then went for D&C. They had to repeat my D & C because I still had severe nautia, vomiting & my hcg level was still high. After this they were continuously monitoring my hcg count till it dropped below 10.

Dr. asked us to wait for 2-3 periods & then try to avoid any abnormal pregnancy. My 2nd D & C was carried out on 3rd jul. After that i got my periods on 29Sep03(naturally & it was normal). Then I came back to India. Got my next periods on 03Jan04. We started trying again from feb. Got my next periods on 22Feb04, 25Mar04. We visited Gynac(India) on 01May04. She carried on certain blood tests on me. All were normal. But pregnancy test was -ve. She asked me to take folic acid suppliment daily. She said we'll wait till sep/oct & see if u get any luck otherwise come & see me. I had some spotting (very little)on 19th, 20th & 21st, then on 25th jun 04. So we went to see the Dr., also took pregnancy test but it was -ve. I then got my normal periods(little heavy) on 11Jul04. After that I have not got my periods still. Took pregnancy test twice, but it was -ve. I spoke with the gynac. I'm going to see her tomorrow.

I'm a working lady, I have off on sat/sun. so I get time to visit her only on sat. Sun, she is not available.

I usually have normal flow on my periods, accompained by less or severe pain 7-8 hrs after my periods start. Pain lasts for 2-3 hrs & then subsides.

I hope this information is sufficient for U to analyze my condition. If U need more information please ask.

As said by wannabeparents you are not alone, many are here.

If once you got pregnant you will get pregnant again.

Listen, can you go to some Dr. and have blood analyzed for hCG at this moment, if possible do that right a away.

I am sorry for misjudgement of pervious pregnancy. I always recommend people to go for second opinion whenever concerning stuff arise.

Since periods are irregular it may get little tough for you. However if you choose to use OPK then you will increase chances. Avoid sex even once a two days. I would want you to use OPK and then plan your intercourse accordingly.

Tell me your about your irregular cycles, so that I better judge your case and may refer to see your Gynec.
