sai since i introduced solids at 4 months my baaby is having 3 meals a day but you can start with one meal. i am giving her water after every meal just to make her use to drinking water. she just has one sip and leave it. i give her from avent cup. in between i give her a few sips of water as she was suffering from constipation and my paed advised me to do so.

Try mashed carrots, lentils and peas, potatoes.
Babies having solid 3 times can have water upto 2 0z.
Since your baby is going to have solid only once per day you can try 1/2 oz of water.

Yes..until your baby gets adjusted to the new way of feeding and taste of solids its good to give him food only once per day.

hi sai,

peal the skin, cook the fruit or veggie in water, blend and give.

give veggie first and continue that for 4 days and check for allergic reactions. try new things during day time.

You can give water 2 teaspoons after giving solids, but not necessary. my son is 10 months and only now i started to give him water.

if ur baby is completely breastfed, no need to give water.

hope this helps
love,
jayashree
