Hi All! I am new to this forum..I am expecting my 1st baby at the end of this month..and jst thought I would gear up for his/her arrival! The query that I am posting is not really a health issue but I am really worried about bathing the baby. I dont know whether I will be able to manage it or not :(
Also wanted to know your thoughts on when shd one start bathing the baby, how frequently should one bathe the baby..esp in winter months. Any tips/suggestions will be of great help. Thanks!

Hi , its fun to give bath to the baby. Initially till the umbilical cord falls , u have to give the baby a sponge bathe.Then after that u can prolly give the baby bathe every other day during winter , During winter keep the baby nicely moisturised by applying baby mositure every 2 hrs or so..!!

I live in singapore,i joined postnatal classes, but i found that giving bath to baby is very much convinient as indian style(sit on floor by stretcing legs,put baby on your leg,put his head on your thigh), this is the most safe and easy way.
