Hi! Friends,
I recently refused to have a baby shower..just want ot hold my healthy baby in my arms before having a party...baby shower seemed too much of an emotional investment...
But am planning to buy a few essentials on my own..
any stroller recos..besides what kind of winter
clothing are u buying..my first child is a summer child..and that was pretty easy.
I live in California..bay area..
Anybody from the same area???????????????
Cheers,
Bhavna

My fav stroller is the Graco Metrolite. It also comes with car seat to make it a travel seat.

If baby's skin permits it is good to buy some Gerber thermals for winter. Buy 4-5 larger size (6-9 mo) thin jackets to bundle up even at home. My ped says that it is better to keep the temp setting at low and bundle the baby instead of heating the house too much. Better for skin and nasal passages.

Baby caps, mittens and socks are a must. If you can, get a pair of mittens and socks of preemie size. Because a newborn baby unless very big (8 lbs +) will keep losing his/her socks and mittens!

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
