hi ,i have posted several messages on this board but i am stuck again with same old problem,my son is 16 months old and he loves milk and rice porridge but everything from the bottle,he refuses to take the spoon or even if i feed him in the hand he doesnt like it,i am in a fix,i feel i should wean him now,anybody with the same problem please let me know.

hi surti,

try this, keep aside some food what u make, without spice and give that for him when u eat(this is a bit long process but i think this might help u)

he may hesitate at first but gradually he will give up. he will spill everything everywhere initially. if he show some interest in a particular food, keep somehting for him to try and u feed some. in that way, he gets his stomach full as wellas try to have food on his own. hope this helps u.
