Subject:  Not able to get pregnant



I am ready for the pregnancy and motherhood. I have stopped the birth control pills. I have been trying since last two months. However, I am not able to get pregnant. I am very upset. Please somebody tell me why this is happening. I really want to get pregnant as early as possible.

Hi Anupama, Do not lose heart. May be your body needs some more time. In the meantime make healthy lifestyle changes. Maintain ideal weight and exercise regularly. Start taking folic acid supplements.

It is very necessary to prepare body for pregnancy the right way. In take of folic acid is a must to avoid birth defects. Also it is necessary to get periods regularly in order get pregnant quickly. Right kind of diet is also essential for having a healthy body for getting pregnant.
