Dear all,

I have been very confused for quite sometime and came to know about this site where people help each other in solving problems..
My problem is this..I got married before 3 yrs and soon after my marriage I left for Tokyo and became a house wife(I was a Software engineer earlier)..We have recently returned India and settling down here once and for all..Now that we are back we are seriously thinking about having a baby since Im already 26..Now the problem is that I want to work..since i have worked for more than 2 years bfr marriage..and coz of the cost of living here,i feel the urge to resume my job..Can u please advise me if it is ok for me to start working in IT field where the work is so demanding,at this point of time, when im trying to conceive..since most of you must have gone through my situation,i request you to offer me guidance..Please help..

Do you think S/w woman dont give birth to babies? of course they do.. all you need is family support.. someone to look after your baby when u are at work.. someone u trust..If you have that..prepare for a month.. give interviews.. get a job in say 2 mnths.. work for 6-8 momths.. concieve .. maternity leave for 3 months.. start working again.. just postpone your plan by 8-10 months... di bh replied. Hey relax and dont worry. what u think is really a dilemma to most of them. You are only 26 dont worry.I have seen people who are 30 conceiving a healthy baby.The point is the baby should come when u and your husband both are ready. if any one person is not ready the baby will be tough for you to manage becoz of mental status of the unwilling partner.
Hey i am in somewhat a similar state. But right now i am convinced to give a job a full year and think about this.
If you feel u can manage with job and a baby then u should give it a try. and if u feel comfortable trying to concentrate a little while on job that would be a good idea too.
Hey moreover nowadays with more educated and strong willed,career oriented women everbody would think about this option with regard to their career and comfort level. Thats all it matters.And that is a good way to go about this thing.Best of luck.
