Body and Fitness:eating food in intervals

Hi,
I have a habit of eating my food in few intervals, meaning that i cant eat too much at once, so i leave around 2 3 hours and then take something again,
is it a healthy sign, can anyone help me in this regard

Hi Secret Friend

This approach is actually recommended as long as you're eating the right kind of foods. It is called grazing - eating smaller meals and more frequently instead of three large meals in a day. I do this too being a busy mum. Ensure you have plenty of nutritious snacks - fresh fruit, vegetables, dried fruits, nuts and then of course your carbs in the form of wholegrain cerelas, pulses, breads and protein such as lentils, beans and cheese.
