Hi all,

My husband and I decided to go for an IUI I underwent the whole procedure of making my egg grow and we did the Insemnisation as well. My appt with the Dr to check for pregnancy is on Sept 6th.

What are the things that I need to look out for during this period and also what symptoms would I feel?

I have got lower abdominal pain on and off and also menstrual cramps. I dont know if this is psychological. Am I getting periods? I need a child very badly. I also feel as I am getting back ache which I used to get when I get my periods. I used to have Irregular periods and also my eggs were not forming well.

Kindly advise please.

Unfortunately early pregnancy symptoms mimic the Premenstrual Symptoms. If period does not show in 3-4 days then most likely what you facing is result of successful IUI.

What symptoms you are facing are indeed common for period and pregnancy. Do you feel anything around breast and any alteration in frequency of restroom visits?
