Problems in School:Feedback on May flower Public school, Bangalore

This school on sarjapur road is run by the builder called corporate leisure who owns the project Suncity. This builder is highly unprofessional and it is hard to imagine how they can run a school. They are only money minded and have constructed this shoddy project called ' Suncity' on sarjapur road. Please see the condition of this project before making a decision to go to this school. This school is run by builder' s son and they have high political connections and have never given anything as per the promises to the residents here.

There is also a rumour that this is built on an illegal land and any complaint will pull this down.

Hi,
My kid goes to May Flower Montessori. From your post it is clear
that your have never been to that school. All the teachers of May Flower Montessori are Montessori / NTT trained and are experienced also. They have well equipped Montessori environments,
big outdoor play area, A.V room ,pet Sanctuary etc...I am very much happy with the progress of my child.
Please get your facts right before posting comments in a public forum.

It is very clear that this school is built on Suncity Apartments land which is a daylight violation of BDA norms. Residents are planning to approach BDA and this building will be demolished anytime. basically the future of the students there is in limbo.

I do not agree with Ivashini completely. U must be right that the management is providing the facilities. But are you sure that the animals in the pet sanctuary are living in hygiene condition, & sending ur kid there is safe?? Please check if they have a certificate on their health..The teachers must be trained for Mont/NTT but are u sure they follow the right syllabus as per the present scenario?? I have heard that there are three teachers who are very good friends & they just do what ever they fell like in school.. When they do not have any plan for the syllabus that they are going to teach the student they send the kids to play, is this how a school is run????These teachers do not give a forum to the elder students to speak, in fact there have been lot of complaints regarding this by parents. I guess ur kid should be in a younger class thats the reason you are not aware of it... Earlier there was a lady introduced to the parents in a forum as principal latter in mid of the year the principal is changed, WHY So??? Did u ask the management reason for this sudden change?? Whats happening in this school??While introdusing this school in Suncity it was told that its a 100% Montessori curriculum, mid of the year parents are called for a meeting changing the whole concept to NTT or traditional way?? Y so???

Yes, My comment was not based on the facilities in the school. but there is nothing wring in knowing about the promoter of this school. This is a real estate guy who has a poor track record in meeting any of the promises made to his residents. He has made huge violations in the plan and still continue to ignore any questions raised. He has violated taxes and invited IT raid in his office. The approach road to the school building is through suncity apartments, which itself is a violation. If you think education is an investment for your kid and want to secure the future of your child, you can take this into consideration and send him to somebody who thinks education as a serious business. This fellow looks at it to generate some short term money never know when he will close this down and move to something more lucrative. Ask anybody in suncity for an opinion about the owner of CLPD and his sons who are controlling this school.
