my ring is out.. My collegue at work, just a few mins ago, used a pair of plyers to cut a bit of it off and then used another pair to stretch it while I got it off of my finger......

gosh, what a relief..I woke up this morning with cramps on that finger.....

the best part is - he only cut a tiny part of it off so for now I can wear it on the little finger and can get it soldered later on.. :)

oh that`s big relief that ur tight ring off. but blood is flowing take care Avi, use a banded even it small cut for safety so no any infection at all. from starting of my pregnancy i do my two ring off at that time i do not like i use to wear last 15 year but now i can`nt wear that ring my finger is now a days very big

Hi Avi. Happy you got the ring off. Following your suggestion, I too managed to take my ring off from my middle finger and have put it on the ring finger, where it fits comfortably for now. But I will keep monitoring it and if it gets tight, I will take it off immediately. Sure my middle finger feels naked as I have worn that ring forever! But at least the ring was saved in time.

Hi Avi,

That must have been quite a relief. Thank God that it hadn't had to be cut fully. As for the cramp part, I think it'll go off soon. Keep exercising that finger. You can get the ring soldered when you visit India or in some jewelry shop in Berkeley. But, all this can wait.
