Has any one tried Pankajakasthuri for your baby. It is an ayurvedic medicine for bronchitis, cold and cough. I have a 1.5 year old son who sufferes very often from cold and wheezing.
Is Pankajakasthuri safe without any side effects?
Does my son need some diet restriction when using Pankajakasthuri?

Does it really works for the baby can you say that and can you say it is the product available from any brand or it is prepared by any people in the regional area then only we can give to other also. Hetal replied. i personally havent tried ne kind of ayurvedic medicine and will not recommend ne such herbal medicine unless your baby gets the symptoms and unless your ayurvedic dr recommends it.
i think you are talking about pankajkasthuri cough mix,,( do correct me the exact name ),,
its 100% natural and completely safe,,but its not mentioned whether or not its safe for babies,,however, if your ayurvedic dr has prescribed this, he must have prescribed the recommended dosage..
also, if you are talking about pankajkasthuri breate ec syrup,,thats quite ideal for usage of kids and grownups.
however,i would like to mention that watever you mentioned like cold, cough, bronchitis,,if and only if your dr has diagonsed it more than twice, your baby is having it on recurring basis,,but assuming yourself that your baby is having these, and giving some medicine is not a worth...
until now there have not been cases of side effects caused by the medicine that you are using,,but if your baby is having what you said, and you have been giving this medicine for quite some while,,he should have recovered completely by now..because this medicine is said to give recovery from old coughs, colds ,,so you be the best judge !
also its not advisable until you get a signal from your dr to use ne kind 2 types of medicine(allopathy,ayurvedic or homeopath)all together..you have to understand here that human body responds to one remedy by one chemical reaction and if all done together will be like messing with your healthy body and confusiing it,,at the same time,,internal health gets disturbed !
it all depends on strength of that type of medicine,,so please ask your dr if at all your son is given ne allopath that, whether or not you can give this particular medicine,,its advisable to take this medcine alongwith you with the pack of manufacturere so that your dr knows the ingrediants !! and declares it safe for consumption alongwith allopath..

other thing is, about diet, yes to some extent it does help..now that your baby is 1.5year old,,he will be able to eat and drink alot of food items unless he is allergic to something,,,
thre are some trusted remedies which i would not mind sharing, but i would like tohear from you, that your baby has been seen by dr and acc to your dr he has declared your baby having these recurring probs related to cold,wheezing and bronchitis...
its only then i will love to share !
