Hi Nazeeba, try giving kerala banana the big one it will help in easily gaining weight. You can give one banana on daily basis to your child which will help in increasing atleast 1kg weight on daily basis.

If she likes milk and drinks it without any tantrums then you can bring different chocolate drinks for her. It will help her gain weight and some of them have vitamins in them too and milk has calcium so everything will benefit her.

You will have to find a way to distract her in a way that she does not get bored and also find ways to get her interested in eating, make it like a game or something fun for her so she enjoys that too.

See don't make her leave playing when you want her to eat her food. Feed her when she is playing in that way she won't even notice much and will also eat properly and also enough to fill her stomach properly.

I have heard any mothers complain about this and i think you should consult a doctor on this and ask him what can you do to get her hungry so that she eats well and at proper times and gains some weight.

Make food interesting for her by making it in a shape of different things and animals or buy her interesting thing like cartoon plates and spoons that will make eating fun for her and then maybe she will eat everything properly

Take her to a doctor and get her checked because not eating anything or just being skinny can have a root reason too so it is always better to have a doctor's opinion about everything when it comes to your child.

If she does not eat anything siting at one place the feed her when she is playing or make her sit and tell her different stories to divert her attention while you feed her. In that way her play time won't be disturbed and she won't be hungry too.

Hello Mother,
You can keep the food which is healthy and it must be rich in proteins also. And even though she is not gaining the weight you need not get worried because some people will not gain weight how much they eat also.

Fruits, vegetables and nuts are my recommendation and please focus on the appearance of the food as well. Funny shapes, bright colours are attractive to children.

It might seem quite challenging right now but as a parent myself I can assure you that you have nothing to worry about. It is a common problem with children and they will pass through that phase eventually. However, you also need to ensure that your 2 year old will get all the nutrients that she requires. Maybe you could try a protein drink or juices to substitute for a solid meal. I would even suggest trying Go milk.

Eating disorders may be because of a combination of biological, behavioral, and social factors. Someone with an eating disorder has to see a doctor, a dietitian, and a counselor or therapist.
