Hi archie,
I,m a 35 years old and having a 2.5 years old daughter now we want our second child.we are trying since last 2-3 month but no success.I have irregular periods cycle(average 35 days).I had my last periods on June 25th and again on August 2nd means after 38 days.It is difficult to predict my Ovalution periods Some time back(4-5 month back) i noticed that i was having EWMC for 1 or 2 days but now(from last 3 month) i am not having this wet period.Is it age related????? I read so many message on this board related BBT.So I thought to measure my BBT.its my CD17 today and I took my BBT.It was 96.7 deg. at 7:05 am.Can u please help me regarding this.Tem. will come down if i'm ovaluting???? I don't know too much about BBT.

My todays tem. is 96.6 deg.(CD18) at 7:07 am.
But i want to know that can I go restroom half hour or one hour before?
Or first i have to take BBT.
Will my Ovalution take place in this cycle ? We didn't have intercourse from last Friday.

Second time or first time, issues are common, so if not getting pregnant in a few cycles, as many as 13 it's very normal.

However BBT is good bet in your case. EWCM is individual, some gets more some don't it's very hormonal and balance is required to get that in optimum, not really an age issue until 40 yr, but can't rule out either.

Take temperatures each morning at around 7 am and don't get up from bed before that, tell me what happens in another 5-6 days.
Yes, a day before/or around ovulation your temp will drop and post ovulation it will rise again above the normal. Say if yours is 96.7 is normal then likely around ovulation it will be 96.2 or so and post ovulation will be 96.9 to 97.8 that's what you will expect and confirm that ovualtion took place.

BBT howevere requires about 3-4 cycles to judge when exactly ovualtion happening and this means some amount of patience.

Keep taking temperatures and bed without any stress, keep your husband out of all BBT temperatures and knowledge about what temp difference means, he also have to be stress less to deliver best sperm count. Avoid intercourse for some days.

Best bet is use of OPK, you could test anytime btween noon to 3 pm and can start from tomorrow also, or in new cycle.
