Due Date Club November 2003:3 hr GTT update

Name: Avi Hey guys, as you all know, I had my 3 hr GTT yesterday and I thought I would call and see if they had my results back...
didn't expect them to be back so soon.. but they did..

and all four levels were normal... phewwwwwwwww
I just exhaled a great big sigh of relief :)

a burdern off of my chest... now I can move on to dealing with other pains and problems...

thanks for your wishes you guys.....it was quite a relief to find out that I dont have to deal with GD..

I can only imagine how stressful it must have been to go through the whole testing process and now having to deal with it for Radhika, Priya and Hemani and others.
I know you guys are handling it well. Hemani, giving in to a craving once and while shouldn't be bad so dont feel too guilty about it.

its gr8 that u have ur Gtt as normal , throughout my pregnancy i have had to monitor my blopod sugar because if gestational diabetes
today my bua is over and i asked her to make suji ka halwa , just could not resist the temptation
i am waiting for ankur-my hubby to get back and will do the sugar test

Hey Hemani, Sorry to hear about the GD, but I am sure you are handling it well.. Just a matter of 2 months and you can eat all the sugar and sweets and you want.....

Halwa sure does sound yummy......its been ages since I've had any Indian sweet..

I went for the b'day bash yesterday and it went well, went early and came back not too late neither so was gr8! Slept till late and still lazing around doing nothing, which feels brilliant!

Boy, you guys sure know a lot about my day to day activities (that means I sure am a chattering jane).. but I am glad I can share it with you...

So here goes some more info -

I was planning on taking the hospital tour tomorrow, then grabbing lunch at spices of India (it's a new restaurant in berkeley and I heard the food is yummy there) and then taking off on the long long drive to Pleasanton...

I have been to the livermore temple and it takes an hour and a half to get there by Berkeley if the traffic is moving...so Pleasanton I assume would take longer...

I am a bit anxious though, I was asking Radhika about how long into the pregnancy she was last week cause I am nervous about his size and weight and his well being in general. I was thinking that I should wait a few more weeks so that he is bigger..
but then I do want to make sure he is alright so I think I should go for it tomorrow...

I used the oil suggestion from Ashra too but no luck on getting the ring off.now it doesn't move even the mm it used to 2 days ago...I need to go to kmart and get some string (floss kind) to try your suggestion out...

I hope Sunday doesn't turn out to be as hot as yesterday and today...with the lack of parking and the crowds and the walking, the heat will only make things worse...

Anyways.....thanks for all your good wishes and for sending the good vibes.. I appreciate every one of em'

Good luck with your 3-D U/S tomorrow. I am sending lot of baby-be-active-during-the-U/S vibes, hope he is active so you could get a cool video.

yeah, I have been craving for just one slice of that really yummy strawberry cheese cake with lots of whipped cream for a week now, but didn't want to eat it before I get my results.....
