Working Mother:Need advise from working mothers

Hey,
I have a 2yr old daughter.Iused to work before she was born and i have a very good experience.
For family reason i intend to work very seriously. But it is looking very difficult to leave my daughter she is so adorable. And she is mummys pet as well. She clings on to me.Wat i feel she should socialise rather than cuddling up.And iam planning to change my field to IT,Obvious reason being more monery now a days.

Can anybody pl advise how difficult it is to justify both career and kids.I dont want to compromise anything for my dot.How long are the working hours in India? Are the companies flexible when it comes to women'family issues.(it happens in abroad)

Iam a finance persn. How difficult will it be,if iam changing my field to IT.And IT friends, can u pl advise me,any ways to enter IT field.Friends u must be thinking, why do i need to change.I have been in Finance for 5 yrs with lots financial reaponsibility, which require so much attention. Now i dont want to take so much of tension because i have to take care of so many other things.

Hi,
I am working in software field. But it is the most stressful job i believe.Even i have 8 month old baby and i have thought of quitting my job so many times. At anytime i may quit my job.there is a field in software 'Testing' which may be a bit relaxed work(People tell that way). But still i am not sure.I suggest u can take up a part time job or work from home if your company has that option.

Regards
Jaya

Hi Frnds
Although i dont have any suggestion for u sss but i want to share something with u people. even i was in programming job but after the baby i left it .My hubby and all my frnds were saying testing is less stressful job so i am switching from programming to testing .for that i am doing some course.my daughter is now 8 month old.we (i and my hubby)are planning to leave her in crache.i wish things will go smooth and just taking a chance .
I think in any job u have to devote time .whether its part time or full time...BUT IF U R DOING WORK FROM HOME UR BABY WILL ALWAYS BE IN FRONT OF UR EYES.
SO ALL THE BEST TO ALL WORKING MOMS
