hii mothers...
i have a 4month old daughter and wud like to know if applying johnson's moisturing lotion, oil , bedtime aroma cream , powder is safe for my daughter.. i know i know these products r very popular baby products.. i used to apply these creams more often on her.. but still wanna know ur suggestions.. any sideeffects when u used it for ur baby.. plzz tell

Hetal replied. all j&j products are made keeping in mind baby needs and delicate skin..howeverr, many babies have shown rashes and skin dryness when these products were used..as far as your baby has not shown ne kind of bad effects, its ok to use..
go for the ones without fragrance or ne smells..
also,wanted to add, that try using edible products when it comes to your baby skin care. the reason is their skin is very delicate and no matter how good the baby creme or oil is, its goin to penetrate into the skin,,and a 4 month old often puts his hands in his mouth,,so in that case, he will be actually consuming those products that you used on him !! well.even though not that big in qty and is a baby product; the product itself says FOR external use only.so i considering that,,use ne edible oil namely,olive oil,coconut oil,sesame oil,or regular ground nut oil is also fine ! these oil has enough moisture in them to give your baby all the good ness of natural things and you know what is the main ingrediant in it !
about pwder, pure cornflour is the best recommended by drs even today in US, however,medical surveys states that actually dont need that before 1 year !! its good for babies until 1year of age to sweat,to release all extra water in them thru skin pores,which is clogged if pwder is used ! since cornflour doesnt stay much on skin,,its advisable to use.
before sleep time, drs recommend that baby skin should be fresh and left creme free, which means they should get a good massage and then a good bath,,so that skin can breathe air nicely ! since you are already giving a good massage with oil before or after oil, none of ne artificial things are required !
so these all are pros and cons of these baby products, and its a very much personal choice and upto you as to what you want to use for your baby and you think is convinient for you and is best for your baby.for nething you use on your baby skin, watch whether or not it suits your baby skin...thats all is enough for you to understand whether that product is working well for you.
