Eating Problems:i want stop breastfeed

My son is nearly 13 month.. I keep breastfeeding him many times a day and he don' t sleep until I breastfeed him for long time.. He eat solid food and veg but he don' t like cows milk.. How i can stop his breastfeed and make him sleep without it!

Subject:  reduce the number of times you feed



hi priya,
slowly reduce the number of times you breast feed. begin this during day time because children can be distracted easily. feed solids and always keep him occupied with something else.
slowly you can make it twice a day and the stop during the day. follow the same during nights. remember not to stop together during day and night it will cause behavioral probs for your child. check simpleindianmom for more details

You can give him formula milk...may be he likes it...plus you can always keep reading the blogs on various sites on babies which will guide you to overcome such a situation...one of the portals which have gud blogs is babeezworld...
