Problems in School:Return to Mumbai

This is my first post here. i am new to the forum. We stay in The US but plan to return to Mumbai this year. I have a 10 yr old daughter who is not happy about it as she is terrified of learning hindi. She can speak decent hindi for American born kids but no where close to what they have in schools in India. Are there any schools where Hindi is not compulasary?

Any advice would be appreciated as I don' t want th move to be very hard on her. She is a bright child otherwise.

i really dont think that you may have much option against hindi. why dont you try for some international schools where they take expat kids. maybe you have an option there. while she can learn hindi as a new language, u can tell your child that it is good language to make friends faster! good luck
