Hi, I am Sarika. We have been trying to have a baby from last quarter to two years. I have been taking tablet "Siphene" from my second day of cycle to 6th day. Every month I get checked up, I have fully grown egg. Three months back I have gone through Laparoscope's to check for tube blocks etc. But results show nothing is wrong. So doctor has performed puncturing ovaries incase they r blocking fallopian tube while egg is mature. After that I had 3-3 follicles for next 2 months but still no luck. Doctor says in my case it's better to wait and prey. My husbands Seaman analysis was also normal. We don't know what to do please help! wannabparents replied. Hi Sarika,
First of all relax. I guess stress is playing its role in your case too. Myself and my hubby were trying for a baby from jul-03. We were so depressed that we went for our check up in our 10th cycle, to see whether my tubes were blocked and for his semen analysis. Everything came out normal. Until then I was stressing myself to such an extent that I was looking for small signs and waiting to take test, which ultimately would end up in periods. After our results came out normal, we took a break. we decided not to try that month. On the same month I got pregnant. Here I am pregnant and waiting for my first doctor appoinment. Last month we were so busy that we were not able to think about the baby. That same month I took the test and it was positive. We prayed God and tried to stay out of stress. That is what helped. Archie advices eceryone to relax. She says if we stress ourselves our hormone will play against us. So please try to relax as evrything is fine with u both. I don't know what test they did for u to see whether ur tubes are clear. FOr me they did HSG, inserted dye to see if the tubes r clear. They say after HSG the chances of getting pregnant in 2 to 3 cycle is more. I guess that has played it part too. I got pregnant in my 2 nd cycle after HSG. Relax and keep praying. No problem is not a problem as a hope is alive for child birth.You know that bilogically you would be able to mother a child.I understand that each periods is a pain in itself when you are trying to conceive.i and my wife have faced this problem for one and a half years and finally my wife conceived to our happiness and we have a two and a half year old daughter.Please try the following suggestions.

i)Please try to take out the pressures of motherhood when you have physical relationship with your husband.The tensions and worries are the greatest impediments to conception.If possible please call somebody to your home who does not pester you for child so that you would not be thinking of the child.
ii)Know your fertile days.Get egg formation checked in two alternate months so that you know the fertile days very clearly.
iii)Avoid any physical contact from ten days of fertile period.THis is to increase sperm count and sperm motality.Further,this would increase the arousal.The more aroused you are the more the chances of conceiving.
iv)Do not use any artifial lubricant .That is a major barrier for conception.
v)Please get yourself checked for vaginal infection and thyroid.
vi)Please put on a music(erotic) so that thoughts do not wander and have relationship for enjoyment and not for conception.
vii)after ejaculation lie with hips on a pillow to make your hips inclined for half an hour.
viii)Do not urinate and go off to sleep after half an hour.
