Vardhan replied. Hi Purva,
If the baby is thin and to gain her weight do not keep food continuously for her.She will not eat when she feels hungry only you feed her.As time passes on she will gain weight.

Don't worry about her.Being active is very good for babies. When coming to eating, they usually take long hours to eat for small quantities, make them sit on a moving chair and start feeding her. Also as you said she is active give some foods like badam powder in milk, ghee in some foods and potatoes paste. These will make her a bit chubby inspite of her activities.
aniket replied. you should give them a proper and a healthy diet.
tanay replied. i think so u should give a proper diet to her and should make her to eat fruit and vegetables to increase mineral and vitamin and should not give her to much oily food to eat.

Pooja R replied. Hi do not worry on the qty of intake of ur child as long as she is active. Every body has a diff metabolism. I too have a 2yr old son with whom I had lots of eating problems. The foll. things helped me :
1. getting him a booster chair with a tray. he sits on that near the window, so he is a little occupied too and it has formed a routine for him that he sits there till he finishes his meal
2. getting kiddie plates and cutlery. keep making stories out of that for him
3. thru trial and error finding out his likes and dislikes.
4. encouraging him to eat on his own.
all this worked and he is a better eater now but not a foodie. He will never ask for food. once i make hime sit on his chair and serve him he will eat. there are days he eats practically nothing too. but nothing to worry.
try making her sit at one place and keep her occupied with something she likes. her toys, games books. and keep your cheer and spirits high, it will help her. and never force feed, they develop a hatred towards eating.
Mrs. Sunil replied. Hello,
I am a mother of 2 daughters. My elder one is 6 yrs and the younger one is 2 years. So, you may imagine the kind of struggle I have :)
They both were weak at birth, and had eating problems. Finally, I visited a doctor, who recommended a medicine that would strike them with hunger. It was all good until the medicine was continued, but once it was over, they were not eating properly again - so, in short, I landed up on square one...!
I wanted a solution, which would give them daily nutrients, instead of making them hungry for a while. I researched in the market and in the pharmacies, finally, I came across Nutrilite, which has a Kids chewables and kids drink.
It has been 3 months, that I have been giving them both (half tab to the younger one! as the full tablet is meant for children between 4-12 yrs.) and believe me, they have been hail and hearty since then.
I have had less issues on their health problems, less on the elder ones child asthama and the younger one has become healthy and matches the height and weight scale now! I am extremely happy with the supplement and have full belief in its results.
Please get in touch with me if you want to speak to me or require this supplement for your kids.
Thanks!

Sneha replied. Hello,
I too face the same issues with my 14 months old daughter. She' s a very fussy eater. Every feed is a battle for us. My husband & I struggle a lot to just feed her very little food.
Her feeding is just this..
Morning 8:00 - 9:30 --- cup of milk & NO BREAKFAST
Lunch 1:00 - 3:00 --- half katori(small one) of rice & dal (form of paste made in blender)
Evening 5:30 - 6:30 --- milk (optional. If lunch time crosses 3pm, skips milk in the evening)
Dinner 8:00 - 9:30 (sometimes till even 10:30 pm) -- half katori of rice & dal.
For just this feeding schedule, her feeding time takes 2-3 hrs. and each feed time is a nightmare for me. Am just experiencing hell with my baby' s feeding.
She doesnt have anything else like biscuit, fruit, juice, idly, roti.
Am just praying god. Please help.. :(
