leme know your child daily schedule and diet,,at 16months her developemnts...
its unlikely that a healthy child will wake up 2-3times at 16months !! unless i see something in her diet, schedule or her activity level.
if you see there are many post after your post,,please post the followup post as a new post with your prev refrnce etc or with details i asked with your query,,,,, it becomes difficult for me to trace the old posts esp when the boards have so many posts in one day.
good luck

Subject:  hello hetal pls help

My daughter is 21 months old now and still gets up atleast 5-6 times at night. I have got used to it . But it is very disturbing. It has started affecting my memory because for the past 21 months I have not slept soundly at night. I have started forgeting things and it is very disturbing. Now I have started working also. So it is all the more tedious and hectic. But if i do not give her bottle milk at night after she wakes up she will wake up in full swing and start searching for me in bed. Initially when she starts crying I give the milk bottle to her and she drinks it and falls asleep but if i do not give her milk she will wake up and start walking in search of me. Then it will be very difficult to make her sleep. She will take 20 minutes to sleep if she wakes up fully which will disturb my sleep also as if 1 time my sleep is disturbed I will not get sleep again. What is the solution.

Her schedule is she wakes at 7.45 p.m.

and has her bath.

At 9.00 am she has her breakfast. Anything like Upma, poha, boiled egg, Sweet shira, idli, dosa etc.

at 12.00 pm she has her lunch of sabzi, chapati and dal , rice.

then she sleeps at 1.30 pm till 4.30 p.m. I just give her water in bottle.

after waking up I give her evening snacks at 5.00 p.m. consisting of similar stuff mentioned in breakfast. Sometimes babycorn pakoda, mushroom pakoda etc.

I give her dinner at 8.30 p.m. consisting of same lunch stuff.

She sleeps at 10.30 p.m. approx. by drinking milk by bottle.

As she drinks at 3/4 litre milk in night when she gets up 5-6 times I do not give her milk in the day. I had read it somewhere that at this age milk consumption should be less than 1/2 litre for a day. As too much consumption of milk is also not good.

And she has been a healthy baby i.e. no disease or any trouble regarding her health. she rarely has cold and very playful all day. She does not give trouble the whole day. But only problem is night sleeping.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
