Eating Problems:Food for toddler

HI Friends,

My daughter is 22 months old. My mother introduced solid food to her and was taking care of her. Past 2 months I am taking care. Please suggest a meal plan for the kid. I am perplexed what to give. Also I am not good in cooking. Please suggest simple and nutritious meals.

Malini, You don' t need to be a good cook to make a nice meal. Try these simple ones.

1) Semiya - a) shreddred carrots b) onions think pieces c) tomatoes small pieces. Put some oil on kadi add mustard then fry onions, tomatoes put some haldi. Add water and let it boil. Put semiya in it let it cook. Add shredded carrot before it is about to cook. Add salt according to taste. If you child can eat spice, add some harimirchi in with onions and tomatoes. I am sure your child will like it as it looks like noddle easily to feed them as well.

2) Paneer Parata - Mix boiled Potatoes and shredded paneer, 1/2 spoon dhaniya powder, 1/2spoon amchur, salt, mirchi powder according to taste. Make them as a ball, add that in Roti batter and prepare parata. Use ghee on pan to cook.

3) Cheese Dosa - You can preapare Dosa batter or you can buy from outside. It' s easily available in most of the places. When you do dosa add either shredded cheese or shredded Paneer on dosa when it is cooking. You can try this for Utappam as well. It' s very healthy and tasty.
