Dear Archie... I was wondering is it normal to have a long cycle one month and a short one the next month, this month it was 35 days...So now how would I know when I will be ovulating next month....My last period was on Oct. 3, 2004 with 35 days, can you please help me predict when I will be ovulating. I am trying to conceive but am not sure when is the best time, I am 35 years old, I dont' want to try for too long so I am hoping the I will with the first try also at this age does it get hard to conceive...thanks for your help.

Dear Ronnie,
After 30 years typically ones fertility goes down by a bit, not necessarily difficult to conceive but it may be that one will take number of cycles while ttc it can be one year to 2 years.

With irregular cycle there is no way to predict ovulation just like that. I am sorry therefore.
You can however do BBT, read my response to some other members on how to do BBT.
you can also try to know when you produce EWCM. For this also try to read some response to other post.
Alternatively your bet could be use of Ovualtion Prediction Kits. They are miracle, especially for people like you who are not sure of their cycle length.

Archie
