Dear Ipshita,
By and large girls prefer to have Vaginal birth. This is due to easy to recover and get back to routine much as possible. There are very less possibilities of any infection possibilities those are less than 1% for C-section.

C-section however is much more painless if it's planned and not a emergency one! The C-section will guarantee you for well being of the baby as there are no possibilities of fetus facing stress of labor and falling down of fetal heart rate or if there is position problems the C-section is better in that case.

C-section definitely demand more attention while recovery. At least for 8 weeks, and that again depends on which hospital and/or who is performing.

I have had C-section but that's due to my son heart rate was going down at little above limits of Pitocin. It was a 20 hours labor.

Hope you will be in a better position to make wise decision.

Archie
