my son is 2 yrs 4 months old.. going to pre school..tells aropund 25 words.. i have 2 ques..
1. he is not able to form senctences.. is this normal..

2. he is not yet toilet trained.. i've to go and leave hoim in the bathroom by seeing his face expressions.. if i miss it, he will do in pants.. how to make him tell that he needs to do potty,... i tried all ways.. like praising him when he did in the potty, scolding when he did in pants.. still i was not able to succeedd... pls help me.. generally kids of this age will be toilet trained.. is he v.late..

don't get cross to ur child when he does accident in his pant but just say never mind we will do it next time in the toilet and dont make it a issuse ....i myself is the nursery supervisor of the toddler's nursery so i get many different types of children some children specially girls just get it and sometimes some just take ages....you alway praise him thats great and bring some small stickers from any stationery shop and after he does toilet in the potty give him STAR for doing it in the toilet...i do it in my nursery....
some children dont get it till they are 3 .....but scolding the child will be really bad because they some time take it in other way and never do it on the potty....
he is not yet forming sentence so the best thing is let him take his own time once he starts forming sentences i tell you he will be a chatter box ....but to help him keep on talking with him about different thing s and encouraging him to talk...
and last is all children are different and take their own time so let him take his own time for everythg....dont force hime...you can try these you can take him to toilet every half an hour for a week or two without missing it and try he shouldnot doany accident ...and then may be after a week or so he might get that he has do do toilets on the potty and he might start telling u...but u yourself dont forget to take hime after evry half an hour....try it ..it works sometime...
