My son is 2years & 7 months. He started going to nursery at 2 & half years. Initially he used to not talk much, but in a space of 2 months I see that he has started to talk quite alot & that too clearly. I try to teach him at home also. But my cause for worry is that he doesn't write standing lines & stuff like what they teach initially. He scribbles but you have to sit with him.The teachers in the nursery tell him to do so , he doesn't do it. So they tell me that he is unable to recognise. Other kids in the class are 3 to 3 & half years old. Also he is very HYPERACTIVE. He likes to keep playing & do all kind of physical activities. My husband tells me not to pressure him so much. Is he right? Am I worrying unnecessarily? Please advice me & give me solutions. seema replied. I don't think anything is wrong with him. Don't you think he is too young as compared to other kids. My daughter is 3 yrs. old and she doesn't go to school yet, but she knows all the alphabets and numbers but she doesn't write them. Over here in US, they don't teach how to write before they know how to read. So please don't worry and enjoy your time with your son.
