you told me to introduce \";wheat\"; to my 15 months old baby.Ijust give him whole wheat with banana but he doesn't like.he likes salty foods.will u tell me how can i give him wheat with veges? I m in usa.other thing is that he is vegeterian and cant digest nuts and cheese.what shd i give him to gain his weight.
thanks in advance. Hetal replied. roti,chappati,,start giving 1/4th pieces of it with curd or milk, or sometimes with any curries you make,,,jst wash the vegies you make for yourself, to mild the spices, and give that..this way you will start introducing spices too !

put the cooker, add a bit of oil/ghee, add some hing,some vegies(his favs), curry leaves a couple,,some cilantro,,and let it saute,also add in some turmeric, cumin-corainder pwder..add the mixture of moongdal:cracked wheat (2:1) since you are introducing,,later once comfortable, you can give 1:1..
let it saute a while and add water to 1 inch level above then the whole mixture...let it whistle for 4-5-6, 6 in case of things like potatos...and let it cool..give that with some ghee, and add in some yogurt/curd,,and you can give that.you can also give this with milk if you want to avoid curd...
so tthis is what all i can think of right now :),,abit in rush today,,
