I have 4 kids, the three oldest are boys. My third child is 5 and is very small for his age. His older brothers have grown normally, but he is a full head shorter than any other 5 year old. So far it doesn't bother him that he is shorter than everyone at his school, but I know sooner or later it will bother him. It bothers me alot, especially because I seem to have to keep telling everyone I don't know why he is short. People constantly say things about his being so small. Especially my sister in law. She has a 4 year old who is bigger than normal and over weight, and she thinks its great that he is so much bigger than my son. She says something about it every time we see them. I wish there was something I could do for him. As he gets older, I know it will become hard for him as it is for me now.
