My son is one and half mnth old.He started developing a prickly heat kind of rash at about his 3rd week and now it is spread all over his body.Anybody with this kind of experience.Please reply.Iam really not sure what it is?

hi its normal,,its not prickly heat,its because your baby is out your womb and has come in contact with surrounding air,,,his skin will mature soon and he will get out of this..
dont use any creme, unless directed by dr,,let your dr see the actual places of rashes and its colour or characteristics and he will decide whats best to apply at your baby skin.
even my baby had that, when she was 2months, she was fine later..also check on his detergent,,,use baby detergent and use it less than directed on the pack.babies dont need a harsh wash ! sometimes clothes cause that...
so check with your dr,,when it comes to babies, always let your dr see the rashes and decide what kind of rashes they are !

hi my daughter is 6 week old as well she developed the same kind of rashes at 3 weeks. as per doc it will take 2 to 3 weeks of time to go, dont be afraid if its get spread all over, i know it looks scary but it doesnt harm the baby. dont apply anything on it(turmeric, besan etc etc)just keep it clean & dry. try to clean it with cetaphil cleanser & apply very little cetaphil moisturizing cream. my daughter's skin is cleared now.

I had a similar query a few months ago concerning eczema occuring in toddlers. As far as I know, it can be due to a varrying number of factors and common foods that end up causing the condition in 1-2 year old toddlers.
