I don't know the conversion from LBS to KG.
If you have a small frame, medium or large, that is mostly how you need to determine your size.
A girl with a small frame will appear fatter than a girl with a large frame and the same weight.
Take care,
Nina
Neena replied. Hi,
I think it determines what part of the world you live in as to whether you fit the standards or \";ideal weight\";...In the area of India in which my family comes from, it's pleasing to see a plumper woman, in France she'd be considered too fat.
but, guess what...
the people setting those standards are men, people whom have no idea of what a real woman should look like.
I live in the US, and although many are bigger in stature and weight than my hometown folks in India, here, in US, the ideal figure is a lady being
5'8\";-5'10\";, 36/24/36, barely tipping the scale over 100 and something pounds. Having no body hairs, long, thin fingers, long legs,...
that is a Barbie doll!! But, our society embraced this body type and tried to make a real woman fit that mold.
(laughing)
What matters most of all is how you view yourself. Others will tell you you are too fat or too skinny, but it's not their body, it's yours.
Nivea replied. Every woman has these concerns...
Scales really don't help us women determine our body figure...
Here is a fact, muscle weighs more than fat...
Here are two women, one is 5'7\"; and weighs 120 pounds, the other is 5'7\"; and weighs 144.
To most of us, that sounds pretty big, but, the 120 pound woman looks bigger than the 144 pound one and actually, the 144 pound woman is an aerobics instructor and is very toned, has a nice figure..
What does that say? It says that each and every woman is an individual, there are no absolutes with height/weight.
I am 5'10\"; and I measure 34/22/36. Everyone tells me I'm thin and could be a super model with my looks and my body...but...
I feel fat sometimes...
even though I am tall, I feel fat sometimes, so just think...I am this tall and still have issues over my body...
I am Indian and my parents are all tall. Most of the women in my family are taller than I am.
I do not intend on coming across as being harsh, I just want you to know it's okay to be who you are. Don't worry about the weight that the scale reads, look at your activity level and at how your clothes fit on you...that is the best indicator.
