Hi Sudipta, I would say you can start with vegetable soup which you can make at home itself by referring various online sites and make use of your own ingredients. It will surely help you in giving a healthy life to your child.

Doctors say that the baby should be kept on the mother's milk for the 1st 6 months and then after that they should start liquids like fruit juices and mashed boil apply or mashed banana in short semi solid food.

No it is not yet time to introduce any kind of food to your baby right now. The baby should be on his or her mother's milk till the 6th month and nothing else or the baby will get diarrhea.

See the amount of milk that you should give your baby will depend on how hungry your baby is and for the semi- solid food you can give him or her cerelac but not many babies eat it but you can try making your baby eat it.

Hello Sudipta,
Many people will put all types of solid to the kids when they are in five months but it would be better you can consult to your elders like in laws or your parents because they would give you the list and you confirm with the doctors also.

hi you must offer mashed bananas or dal rice to your kid at this age. ceralac is also a very good option. you can make the child eat in very small portions so that he doesnt feel very full. give him 1-2 times a day and then other times feed him liquids.
