Hello Jaya,
It would be better you need to consult to the doctor or any of your nanny or in laws or parents they will give you correct decision to be taken and do not take self decision because it reflects child health.

Hello Jaya Krishnan,
I do not have any idea for feeding honey to nine months baby.Because baby body must digest the food also does the metabolism takes place or not. You need to consult the doctor before feeding otherwise they may create problem for you.

honey is completely safe for the 9 month bay. it should be very little but you can give it. as it don't fave any side effects. but you should give filtered honey and not with flies wings and not filtered after extracting. honey is given to baby since 6 months of birth. so don't worry it is completelly safe.

Please do not use honey for infants as they have a special defect for growing a bacteria called clostridium Botulinum which can cause a paralysis called infant botulism. 18 months is safer age to give honey
