Mix the besan, lauki, dhaniya-jeera pwder, salt adding a little water to make the dough.
(Water kept aside from the squeezed lauki can be used)
Prepare small balls and deep fry till golden brown and keep aside.
Make a hole in the kofta with a fork. (care to be taken that they should not break)
For the gravy

1. 1 cup curd
2. 2 onions medium sized (finely chopped)
3. 2 tomotaes finely chopped
4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
5. 1/4 coconut - grated

7. 1 tbsp garam masala
8. 1 tbsp red chilli powder

Fry the onion and tomotos in a kadai with 1 tbsp oil till onions are golden brown.

Once it starts boiling add garam masala and red chilli powder and salt and then drop the koftas in it.
Once this starts boiling wait for 2-3 minutes,.
Remove from fire and add the curd.
Serves - 4-5 people.
Tastes well with rice and chapati
