can anybody tell me how to preserve ginger garlic paste in fridge. it is to be cubed in ice tray (freezer) or just in a closed container on the door racks of fridge. if it is cubed it will be there for so long time. but if it is kept in a container how long the paste can be used ?

After grinding the ginger garlic paste, try to add a pinch of salt to it and mix it well and store it in an airtight container in the fridge. This will keep it fresh for atleast three to four weeks.

I make ginger garlic paste with no water added (I also dry the ginger & garlic first with a napkin & then in the sun for abt 10 mins). After grinding it, I store it in a glass bottle in the fridge door rack & it stays well for little more than a month & tastes nearly as good as the fresh paste.

Hello,
Actually ginger garlic paste is best when prepared fresh. But if you don't have time then grind a little amount at a time and you can have it in fridge for about 2 weeks. Don't need to keep it in freezer you can just keep it in an air tight box and always use a dry spoon to take, and can keep it in the door rack.
