Hi,
Recently from the past 2-3 days my 9 month old boy is not drinking milk from my breasts. If the milk is expressed and given in the bottle/tumbler he drinks vigorously as if he is thirsty for days. Moreover we have not introduced any external milk other than breasts milk. In the night times if he is in deep sleep without his knowledge he drinks. Am deeply worried. Pls help.

Don' t take this seriously. today' s kids are smart & fast. They do what they like it. If still you want him to have Breasts Milk than give it in a bottle. Temperature should be normal to Hot & cold, so i advise to take out your breasts milk and keep bottle in No Direct Sunlight Place.

If the baby is not liking natural feed then there is nothing to worry about...many kids are like that in such a case you should store the breast milk in bottle and then give it to your baby...would request you to ask ur kid' s child specialist to advice you the proper way of storing it as to till wen u cn give that milk to ur kid and at what temp and how to store it...as far as storing machinery is concerned i can advice you a very nice online baby products portal there are many such portals...one which i cn suggest you is babeezworld

Hey,

Your baby is old now... Are you feeding him other foods??? If you didnt start you should have from 6 months!

Some kids just stop liking breast milk from some age. Don' t worry! If he likes it in bottle you can use a pump and feed the milk in a bottle. If not you can start giving him a good formula milk and after one year he can drink well boiled cow milk.

But in addition to that start giving him carrot juice, apple juice, mashed banana (in case you didn' t start diversification up to this point).

My baby is 8 months old and he is already eating almost everything in 3 meals per day! He gets bored of milk and just drinks it between his meals. We give him his milk in the morning then the fruit puree (apple, banana, homemade sweet cheese, papaya, avocado... and some homemade powdered biscuits) then he has milk again and in the afternoon he eats his vegetable puree (boiled: carrot, potato, spinach, celery, parsley) and in the evening he is eating milk with powdered biscuits...

You should give him other foods they get bored of milk.

Good luck!
