What are the advantages of breast feeding the baby? What are the advantages of bottle feeding the baby? Can mothers have combination of both breastfeeding and bottle feeding?

my baby is 6 months old now and I have decided to bottle feed my baby as I am planning to start my work again. I request the mothers on this board to guide me on expressing and storing breast milk. For how long is it safe to store milk? Will it affect my baby' s health if I feed him with stored breast milk?

Even if you opt for bottle feeding due to its advantage, try to feed your baby with the expressed breast milk. These days there are lot of equipments like breast pumps, breast milk storage bottles of branded companies so that you can store your breast milk. You should try to breastfeed your baby for 1 year for good health of baby.

I agree to Mandakin. It is very important to breastfeed baby in order to ensure right development and growth of the baby. I am a working mother so I could not breast feed my baby after 6 months, so i decided to feed my baby on the expressed milk. Breast pumps are very helpful for feeding baby on breast milk with bottle, so all the mothers who are planning to bottle feed their baby, they can opt for expressed breast milk.
