Hi,

I have stopped breast feeding...I used to feed my baby who is 12 months old for 3 times a day..she used to have it while sleeping....just as a comfort...she eats all the solid food...so, I have weaned her suddenly as I tried one at a time but, she used to remember and cry...now also she cries but it will be o.k next 2-3 days...But, my breasts are very painful...though I have pumped little bit to get relief...
Please let me know what to do...
Will it become a serious problem?? I do not have fever or any other pain except breast are hard...

and cabbage leaves..

neha Amy replied. try putting cold cabbage leaves on your breasts. I tried it when I was first engorged (when my milk first came in) and it helped. Hetal replied. its normal.
pump the milk and take the pumping hours to 24-36hours and it will reduce the milk supply..your body will take 3months for complete empty breast...
pump and store the milk,like today if you are pumping 3times,next day 2 times, the third day 1 time and 4th day, 1 time,,and 5th day, avoid pumping,,take a hot shower whenever breast feel heavy or full,,put a hot pack and relax yourself..
bm has its qualities,,so pump and store the milk,,i did that until i knew i was pregnant and i freezd the BM..whnver my 15month old is sick,she drinks stored BM and believe me recovery is remarkable ! for you it will be better because you are not worried tht you are pregnant so you can slowly do away with supply and store good for your child !
