My baby is being bottle feed around 8-9 times a days and breast feed twice to twice depending on my milk.
In total i give my baby each time around 100ml of milk each time,10 -11 times a day. But on the carton of the formula feed its written that 150ml..5 times a day...But i feed my baby more that this. if i try to give him less he cries.. is it ok to feed formula milk as demanded by the baby?.. I am worried as its formula milk and might he may have any digestion probles..he splits litle amount of milk offen and some times he spits like curd... dr.sandya replied. bottle feeding is not good for the baby. if unavoidable use infant feeding formula with proper dilution.use cup and spoon rather than a bottle to feed ur baby.always feed in sitting up,or head slightly elevated ,never leave bottle in the mouth and let him go 4 sleep. each feed should be followed by burping ,it drives out the swallowed air during the process of sucking milk.small amount of vomitting post feed is ok. vomitus is of curdy in nature because the process of diggestion starts in mouth(salivary enzymes)avoid bottle and try using cup and spoon. chances of diarrhoeal diseases are more with bottle feeds,as they are not properly sterilized. gunjan replied. hello bharathi..do not worry.feed him as he needs dont go on the packet feeds.becoz i have also gone thru same thing.now as she is 6mnths.i m givin her outside food also thts y she is takin acc to the packets feeds..but u dnt worry n give him as he needs....mke sure u keep n hour gap.n after evry feed burp sud b taken.he wil nt spit then.
