My baby is 14 months old now. I have tried a lot to give her egg cooked in different ways from boiled egg to scrambled egg but she is jsut not ready to eat. Can anyone suggest a recipie which would have egg in the form of a porriadge mixed with anything. I cook oats for her in water...can i beat an egg an mix with that so that she has egg and doesnt even realise it. plzz lemme know as i really want to give her egg. I' m sure there are some food items which you, too, don' t like. Similarly, there are some items that each baby doesn' t like.

The idea is, if the nutrients from the rejected food item (egg), can be got from another food item, then maybe you can remove eggs from her menu (atleast for the time being). The more you force, the more she will resist.

Try supplementing with other sources of protein and calories (meats, beans, leafy veggies, milk, dahi, etc).

Wait for a month, and then try once again... offer her half a beaten egg, whisked into a soup. Or while cooking a veggie pulao for her, put it 1/4 of a beaten egg into the cooking water, or make a cake with a couple of eggs in the batter. But, if she still resists, then I recommend keeping it off her diet for a while. It' s not mandatory to have eggs.

I don' t think you should add egg to her oats, as eggs have a very strong flavour, and she may reject oats after this.
