Problems in School:Please help by giving advice

Hi,

I have a 7 years old daughter, We stay in USA. Recently my daughter started talking a lot about an American boy, she says he is very nice to her.

I was not worried as nothing wrong but last few days back she said some thing by which I found that the boy is telling about symbols and signs for love etc.

I am worried as I do not know how to react to this and also should I be worried about this or not. Please let me know your thoughts about this.

Thank you,
Amritha

I agree with goldi.Talk to ur girl.Tell her there r lot many interesting people in the world whome she will meet in her life.
I' m not sure if telling the -ve consequences ' ll be the right way to convince her.
Explain her that a relationship takes lot of time, energy & emotions. This is the time when she can enjoy herself with her friends rather than having a boyfriend (which could be a pain).

Dear Amritha,
As a mother ur concern towards ur child is natural.I' ll suggest u to speak about this matter with ur daughter like a friend.Further u can discuss about this matter giving her example : \" I had a friend in my school who had a liking for a boy and what where the consequences.\" Like she was too young to fall in any relationship. Its always better to be friends at this age.We as human beings have a long way to go in life.Further u can add by saying that I' ve a great vision for ur future.

All the best.
Goldi
