Hi, I am a lurker in this board. This is the first time I am posting any message. Just wanted to know how you all are doing and how many of you are having a boy/girl? My due date is Jan 5th. I live in Bay Area(USA). Where you all are located? Thanks and Take care..

Hi Kim

Sorry i took so long to reply to ur mail but was unable to get to the computer cause was busy with my older one.I have a male ob-gyn called Dr Ahn Nugyen.He is really young but very nice and is easy to talk to.He answers all my questions very patiently and gives apt as soon as u request one.If u have any further questions or need any more info feel free to send me a msg on this board.

Nice to know that u live very close to where i stay.U live very close to where i stay.i live at Sunnyvale saratoga and Alberta ave, very close to Homestead.Do write to me and i can email my nos to u so that we can talk.
BTW congratulations on ur pregnancy.

well Better late than never :) I guess u got me wrong ..we've just started trying to get pregnant :( Well thanx for the info though i hope my Ob/Gyn is good too..she is an Indian as i mentioned in the earlier msg..

Subject:  shopping for baby



Hi Kavita

My hospital is Kaiser permanente on Kiely blvd. My doc is really good.I haven't really bought anything for the baby yet, though a friend of mine already gave me the graco stroller and the car seat with it.Also one of my other friend is lending me her crib to use till she has a second one.My cousin sister jsut had a baby girl last april so she has advised me not to buy anythign till i go thru her stuff that she does not need for her baby.so i am waiting till i finish all that and than will do the necessary other purchases.

We have just started trying to get pregnant ..Since i saw ur hospital is kaiser permanente(santa Clara) i was anxious to know who ur doctor is ?? and whether they take good care .My Ob/Gyn is Chandri Chandravarkar though i havent seen her yet :(...Awaiting ur reply..Well BTW i too live in Sunnyvale the cross streets are sunnyvale-saratoga and connemara Way..

I am glad there is someone like me who has so much of age difference between the two kids. i was getting a little worried about this age difference but seeing the way my son is waiting for his baby sister i am glad that i waited this long.

Congratulations on your preganacy. How are you? I also live in Sunnyvale. This is my first pregnancy and I too am very excited about it. We didn't find out the sex of the baby So I don't know what I am going to have, but I can't wait to hold it in my arms :)

Hi kavita thanx for posting the msg.I live near homestead and Deanza blvd.Glad to know that u live in sunnyvale too.Where do u live in sunnyvale?We were very keen to find out about the baby cause my son only wanted a baby brother so we wanted to know before hand so that we could get him ready and now he can't wait to have a baby sister.By the way has anybody experienced slight cramps on the upper side of the abdomen on the right side?

My 20 week ultrasound also showed an enlarged kidney. The good news is that since it is only one side, chances are that he will \";grow out of it\"; and if there's a problem it will resolve itself. Hey Kavita,

I'd say you get the ultrasound done so you will be able to see what is going on. Vaginal ultrasound is a good idea too.
