hai!!
High time to get tht kid out of this habit.it cud be dangerous ifu continue as u have mentioned the kid tried to jump..stop using it immediately.better make him tired during his sleep time by making him play..
as a first step u will have to spend spme extra time in making him occupied with some thing during his bed time.finally when the kid really needs to sleep, like it does rubbing its eyes and yawns..of course starts to even sob a little bit,out on ur shoulder just pat gently, sing something slow and melodious(gud tht babies can tolerate any voice as long as its not tooloud..hey justkidding)he will nod off to sleep.make this to be a habit..
in a week or so he will be out of cloth cradle..one pain is the weight of a one year old..
after that in a month slowyl make him used to sleep by himself..
u justsit near him,pat him, tell story or sing to him..
babies dont get addicted to anything.its all we do..so although it may take some effort and time of urs they will get used a new thing easily.only the time span of each kid varies..
i am confident in this case cos now i make my 7 month old tosleep like this only..
just give ita try afterall u r not goin to lose anything.but be patient while u try this.first day u may feel tired of it but eventually u will feel ur little starting to learn to sleep out of cradle..
regards
tm!!

hi there, we have placed the wooden crib with bed just below the craddle, but still i just run into the room whn he wakes up.
As u said from yesterday onwards i have not used cloth craddle.he is a bit fussy to sleep.i carry him and make him sleep on my shoulder, but the little champ stamps on my stomach and climbs up and shows all kind of kusshti. if he is still playing i leave him in the crib and let him play for a little time more and then try again. its kind of working. as u said its bit tiresome as he is 9kgs. but have to continue the same. Thanks for ur time.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
